Our Board of Directors

Wynn Morgan

Managing Director
Wynn has over 25 years experience working in the environmental sector and is a Chartered Waste Manager.
He joined the company in 2005 as Landfill Manager and he has held several management positions within the company, enabling him to accumulate vast knowledge from all areas of the business. His last post was Operations Director prior to becoming Managing Director.

Wynn values the people within CWM and is invested in their development and helping them become the best they can be.

In his spare time he enjoys playing golf, mountain walking, skiing and travelling.

Sean Gallagher

Operations Director
Sean is a Chartered Waste Manager who has nearly 20 years of corporate experience the last 10 being in the waste management industry. Previous positions include a combination of operational, project management, health, safety and environmental roles.

Sean has seen the waste management industry change significantly in this time, relishing the challenges and is excited about future opportunities. He understands how rewarding it is to be part of a team that affords the opportunities to it’s employees to develop and progress.

In his spare time he enjoys snowboarding, live music and camping in exciting new places!

Kath Ogden

Finance Director
Kath trained as a Chartered Accountant and has a vast amount of experience in the accounting and finance issues facing small and medium sized businesses.

In her spare time she rides and enjoys the countryside with her horse and runs her own small holding and likes to travel.

Dave Gilbert OBE

Non-Executive Director Chairman
Dave retired from the role of Deputy Chief Executive at Carmarthenshire County Council in 2015 after 12 years with the Authority. He had also worked in Neath Port Talbot and Swansea since moving to Wales in 1992. He is also currently a Board member of Swansea Bay City Region and recently joined the advisory Board of the Port Talbot Enterprise Zone.

In 2012 Dave was awarded an OBE for services to Regeneration and Skills in West Wales.
Originally from Hereford he is still a season ticket holder at Hereford FC and a regular at Llandovery RFC.

Dudley Thomas

Non-Executive Director
Company Secretary

Chartered Accountant he has had over 45years experience in finance, both in the profession and as Company Secretary of the largest tyre distributor in Wales for ten years until 1984 when he joined a large professional accountancy practice in Carmarthen where he is now Senior Partner.

During his time with CWM he has also developed a great interest and knowledge of recycling ,which plays a very important part in the company’s strategy, in addition to the everyday lives of the nation as a whole.

Penny Weaver

Household Waste Recycling Centres Manager
Penny has over 25 years experience working in the environmental sector, she joined the company as a MRF supervisor before moving up to become the HWRC manager.

In a relatively short time Penny has continued to improve the HWRC sites recycling efficiency and is dedicated to further improvements both at the sites and in staff development.

In Penny’s spare time she enjoys walking and reading crime thrillers.

Bruce Creamer

Materials Recycling Facilities Manager
Bruce joined CWM in 2002 as a Landfill Operative and progressed to more responsible positions and into recycling roles as the recycling division grew. Now as the MRF Manager, he has been instrumental in the development of both New Materials Recycling Facilities.

He’s committed to continual improvements to increase efficiency and safety for his team.

In his spare time he enjoys cycling & weight training and can usually be found on the family farm with his wife and children.

Tim Davies

Transport Manager
Certificate of Professional Competence in Road Haulage COTC 4TSH – WAMITAB Since becoming CWM’s Transport Manager, our vehicle fleet has expanded, operational understanding has been critical in ensuring Road Traffic legislation is upheld and followed at all times. Tim is qualified and proficient in ensuring optimum efficiency in all financial, operational and environmental aspects of our transport requirements.

Kevin Otteson

Health & Safety Officer
As a health and safety professional and previously a time served electrician I have gained over 25 years’ experience in a wide range of industries that include Construction, Petro chemical, Steel production, Heavy and light manufacturing, LNG and I can now add the Waste Industry to that list.

With a passion for improving standards and behaviours throughout a business I take a sensible, proactive approach to Health and Safety using my experience, skills and knowledge.

Motivating management and front line staff on a daily basis plays a fundamental, critical role in the reduction in work related incidents and forming crucial partnerships that form a successful, safe working environment.

Kevin is a family man with two wonderful children and when he’s not devoting his times to their needs, he enjoys having large family gatherings and helping animals  he loves all animals but especially cats!

Rosalin Lewis

Accounts Manager

Rosalin has over 20 years accounting experience, she joined the company in 2006 as an accounts assistant before becoming the accounts manager in 2012.

Her attention to detail and pleasant manner when dealing with customers and suppliers  ensures all transactions are completed in a timely, accurate and effective fashion.

In her spare time she enjoys watching murder mysteries.
