CWM Environmental Featured in IEMA’s Green Horizons: A Workforce Fit for Tomorrow

June 24, 2025 | Dan Taylor-Peter

CWM Environmental is proud to be a featured partner in Green Horizons: A Workforce Fit for Tomorrow, an inspiring digital series created by the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) in collaboration with Content With Purpose. Launching online on 20th May 2025, with an exclusive launch event in London on the 19th of June, the series showcases the people and organisations shaping the future of the UK’s green economy.

Championing Skills, Leadership and Transformation

As the UK moves towards a net-zero future, the importance of green skills, sustainability leadership, and a workforce transformation grounded in innovation and inclusivity has never been greater. For CWM Environmental, this series presents an opportunity to highlight not just what we do, but also how we’re doing it differently.

Our key message is simple: The environmental and resource management sector is full of skilled, high-paying careers, and we’re on a mission to spotlight them.

From digital transformation to frontline operations, roles in our sector are evolving rapidly. We want to empower and educate the next generation to see themselves as part of this journey, whether they’re reskilling, just starting out, or leading the change.

Our Story in the Spotlight

Our participation in Green Horizons features three distinct films:

  • A Thought Leadership Interview with Sean Gallagher, our Managing Director, sharing CWM’s strategic vision and our role in accelerating the green economy.
  • This documentary short, ‘Social Edit,’ spotlights Dan Taylor-Peter, our Digital Communications and Marketing Manager. It explores how storytelling, digital strategy, and education play vital roles in workforce transformation.

These films will be live on the Green Careers Hub from 20th May, helping professionals, educators, and policy leaders better understand the pathways, challenges, and innovations shaping green careers today.

Building the Workforce of the Future

CWM Environmental is committed to developing real-world pathways into sustainable careers. Through our Future Careers Hub, we provide transparent, practical insights into roles across the organisation, including career journeys, salary expectations, required qualifications, and future demand.

We’re also directly engaging the next generation through our education programmes at Canolfan Eto, working with primary and secondary schools to build awareness of environmental careers from an early age.

Be Part of the Movement

Our inclusion in Green Horizons is a statement. We believe that by showcasing real people, real roles, and real opportunities, we can inspire a more inclusive, skilled, and resilient workforce.

We encourage our partners, communities, and future colleagues to explore the series, engage with the content, and share in our vision of a greener tomorrow, today.
