My Journey to Where I Am Now
I have always been passionate about recycling, reuse, and making choices that are good for the planet. Living in an eco-conscious way is something I actively practice in my daily life, so when the opportunity to work in this role came up, it felt like a dream job to me! This position has allowed me to combine my personal values with my work life, contributing to a team and a mission that align closely with what I care about most.
Key Attributes for Success in My Role:
Always keen to encourage team collaborations. Personal strong focus on recycling and reuse, and I like to promote sustainable living for the future. Past retail experience with both charity and chain stores, which comes in useful for the reuse shop and stock management.
What I Love About My Role & Challenges:
Every day is different; there is always something new happening. It's amazing to see what the team will do with new ideas and then watch them turn them into a reality! They will take a waste product destined for the trash and turn it into a reusable or repurposed item. The most important part to me is the Eto team, without them, none of this would work. We have challenges and days when things do not go as planned, but we will always try to turn it around as a group .
Best Job ever!
